The Fall – Season Two

Netflix took this thing over from the BBC (or some British network) and carried on the tradition well I think. It’s the same uncomfortably twisted characters and follows the same uncomfortable story line; both of which are fine with me.

Gillian Anderson steels the show in general. She doesn’t seem to age and the steely, sexed-up woman cop she portrays seems to be tailored for her.

Gail, at times, couldn’t watch because it gets so intense. I don’t have those issues, which doesn’t mean I’m a bad person, I don’t think. This show is certainly not for the squeamish. It keeps you engaged, whether it’s with anxiety or mystery.

It appears to have reached a conclusion so I don’t expect more (like with Broadchurch or Luther). Nicely done British people!
