Closed Circuit

Gail set this movie in motion for us because she noticed it had some great London shots, especially of her beloved Borough Market. It does, for sure. Plus, it’s a decent thriller, so I was pretty satisfied.

It crammed a lot of stuff into 90 minutes so it seemed kind of rushed to me. It ended abruptly and maybe the surprise of how easily they moved through what was expected to be a huge “walking of the gauntlet” in the penultimate scene was the subtlety I was supposed to get, but didn’t until further reflection.

It didn’t seem to do too well at the box office, but it was a worthy rental.
